On December 11, 1953 he left McAndrew AFB to be assigned to Camp Kilmer, N.J. for early separation [6 months early] from the U.S.A.F. for the purpose of pursuing a college education. John earned a BA degree with majors in Latin, Spanish and History. He received an honorable discharge on Dec.16, 1953 after 3 1/2 years in the U.S.A.F. |
