A fall day in 1953. Jerome captured No.900
on the Newfie Bullit coming past the work
site. Jerome is on the pole when he took
these two shots and he said the exhaust from
the steamer near blew him off the pole.
At this time period the steamer was used to
provide heat for the train as the new diesels
had no steam boilers.

While working atop a pole, Jerome
captured the local freight going by.

At Mile Post 98.49 is the station
Arnold's Cove. Lee Roy Hachow our
speeder driver is on the right.

Another day at Arnold's Cove with the
crew waiting for train clearance. The
only one I can identify is Master Sgt.
