THE  FLINTKOTE COMPANY NFLD LIMITED is on the sign of this building that Jerome shot with
his Argus C-3.The company is located at Clarenville and on this date, 1953, they treated railroad ties with
creosote. They no longer do this business and it is now known as Newfoundland Hardwoods. They now
kiln dry lumber for home building supplies. My thanks to Albert Noseworthy for the updated information
on this photograph.
In this view I took two of Jerome's slides and made a panoramic view of the Flintkote Co.
